Simple Sweet Salad

We all know the regular salad can be a little boring sometimes, so why not mix up your same old with a new Sweet Salad Recipe that will help cut your sugar cravings all while providing you with nutrients and keeping you full!

 

Ingredients

1/2 Red apple

1/4 Orange

1 cup rocket or lettuce of choice 

1/2 pomegranate (seeds) 

A small handful of slivered almonds 

5 grapes 

1/4 lemon (juice)

1 tsp olive oil 

 Add a lean protein for a larger meal

Directions

1. Slice apple into thin slices

2. Section orange into bite-size pieces

4. Slice grapes in half

5. Place rocket/lettuce in a bowl, top with apple, orange, grapes, pomegranate seeds and slivered almonds. 

6. Mix olive oil and lemon juice and pour over salad.
